Carey on Photography opens new studio celebrating past five years of business (Published)

Carey on Photography is holding their five-year grand re-opening celebration at their new studio located at the Kernstown Square, 166 S. Main Street, Chambersburg Pa. on May 7, 2011 from 12 – 4 p.m.

Lowell Carey, 44, the owner, is an avid photographer. He has been shooting weddings for 15 years and in business locally for five.

Although his studio’s main niche is weddings, they also shoot senior portraits, child and family portraits, prenatal portraits and formal headshots.

Carey said that his company has not ‘turned away a customer yet’ and they continue to widen the range of their services to meet their clients’ needs.

“We want to have something for everyone” and that applies to pricing as well, Carey on Photography offers various price packages to meet any budget. They also offer a 10 percent discount in honor of our men and women serving in the military.

Carey genuinely loves to photograph people, whether they just pop in for an impromptu photo shoot or come to him with a specific task in mind, he enjoys capturing the personalities and emotions of the moment that his clients can keep forever and fondly look back on.

Carey feels that “A smile is better than any outfit you could ever wear… if you’re smiling you’re beautiful.”

Carey says that his greatest hope for the studio is that it will continue to grow and attract both new clientele, and he feels the new location is an excellent way to achieve that goal.

What this location offers that his other studio did not is a bigger camera and show room along with a parking lot that neighbors J&B Bridals and Tuxedos, which he believes will increase traffic to both the studio and the bridal shop.

In the end, Carey is working to expand and educate his photographers in order to make Carey on Photography the “go to” photography studio in the Chambersburg area for wedding and portrait photography.
